AL-SHAER GGS (Emergency, Early Production & Intermediate Stage) Rehabilitation Project

Description:

The aim of this project is to develop a new design by modifying the existing units taking into account maximum exploitation of remaining facilities that could be hardly rehabilitate in a short or medium time, in order to reach the optimum solution for liquid separation, stabilization, exporting to EBLA Gas Treatment Plant (GTP) via 16” Trunk-Line.

After Executing the Emergency & Early Production Rehabilitation Stages for AL-SHAER GGS.

The Production Reached to:

  • 2.7 Milion M3/Day of Raw Gas
  • 2.5 Milion M3 of Sales Gas,
  • 120 Ton of LPG
  • 2100 Barrel of Condensate).

Client:

EBLA Petroleum Company (EBCO) with Corporation Petro Canada.

Emergency Stage Scope of Work:

  1. Re-habilitate Un-Blowing Gas Wellheads.
  2. Assestant in Extinguishing Blowing Gas Wellheads.
  3. Executing By-Pass for AL-SHAER GGS.
  4. Rehabilitate Gas Trunk-Line.
  5. Rehabilitate Production Separator.

Early Production Stage Scope of Work:

  1. Re-habilitate Parts of AL-SHAER De-Hydration Unit which have the possibilty of repairing .
  2. Transfer AL-NAJEEB De-Hydration Unit to AL-SHAER GGS & Connect it with the Repaired Parts of AL-SHAER De-Hydration Unit.
  3. Re-habilitate the Contactor Column & Exchangers.
  4. Re-habilitate Fuel Gas System.
  5. Suppling The Station with Generating System.
  6. Rehabilitate AUX. Units (Instrument Air System, Produced Water System, ......etc).
  7. Executing Temporary Flare System.

Intermediate Stage Scope of Work:

  1. Basic Engineering & Detailed Design.
  2. HAZOP Package.
  3. Procurement.
  4. Construction (Including: Survey, Site Preparation, Earthworks, Fabrication, Welding, NDT, Grit Blast & Painting, Backfilling, Hydro-Test, Earthing & Lightning, Heat Tracing, Lighting, MCC, Control System, ...etc) for the Following Area Units:
    - Inlet Facilities & Manifold.
    - Gas Primary Sepparation.
    - Gas De-Hydration Unit.
    - Fuel Gas System.
    - Closed Drain System.
    - Produced Water System.
    - Power Generation System.
    - Instrument Air Package System.
    - Flare System.
    - Control & MCC Building.
  5. Time Schedule & Progress Reporting.
  6. Documentation & Submittals.
  7. Deliverables Plan Including General Deliverables for Mechanical, Piping Works, Civil & Structural Works, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Works.
  8. Key Personnel.
  9. Quality Management System.
  10. Inspecting & Testing.
  11. Quality Records.
  12. Testing, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Start-Up.
